Scott was raised in Kansas City, Kansas where he attended Open Door Baptist for most of his early life. Scott was saved at the age of 8 in children’s church and later dedicated his life to “whatever God would have” at the age of 13. Scott met Deanna in high school, but later kindled their romance while in college and married in 1991. They have 3 children and have been serving at KBC since late 2014. Scott is a Deputy and Chaplain for Cherokee County Sheriff’s office, hunts, golfs, and spends time directing visitation at Lake Tenkiller. (Visitation is the name of Scott’s boat.)
