Our Life Groups are an important part of our church. We were never designed to do life by ourselves. Jesus gave us the church to help us make it through this fallen world, and our Life Groups offer a great opportunity to develop relationships, find encouragement, share life’s joys and trials, grow in knowledge and wisdom, and find acceptance through our common bond in Christ Jesus.
Dan and Kathy Petron:
Their group meets at their home in Lakewood South Community near Barnacle Bills. Their life-group consists of 8-10 adults with an age range of 25-70+. Single, empty nester, married, and widowed are all represented in the group. They strive to learn through: each other’s’ life experience, sharing prayer request, rejoicing in praise reports, Bible Studies, sharing meals together, and supporting each other in difficult times.
Scott and Deanna Wolff:
Their group meets at various homes. They enjoy some great times of fellowship, sharing funny stories from life’s experiences, lifting each other up in prayer, studying God’s Word, and watching the occasional Chief’s game. The group ranges from 30-70+ with most being empty nesters, or real close.
